Happy Halloween!
Next week in Fifth Grade:

Math: We will read and interpret line graphs.
At the end of the week there will be a quiz drawing a line graph.

Science: We will be studying Mollusks and Worms as part of our study of the animal kingdom.

Social Studies:North American Indian Tribes. Extra credit projects due November 3rd.

Reading: Continuing in our novels.

Language: Continuing in Chapter 2 our study of Nouns.


Please remember there is NO SCHOOL for students on Tuesday, November 2nd.

Welcome Fifth Grade Parents!
Looking ahead for next week:

Halloween Parade 2pm Friday, October 29.

Math Quiz Monday. ( mean, mode, median, range) Then they will begin graphing.

Social Studies: Test on Thursday, October 28th. Use your social studies book pages 90-91 as your study guide.

Science- We continue to study the Animal Kingdom. Coelenterates, echinoderms and mollusks.

Reading- Each class is really individual novels. May= Dear Mr. Henshaw
Marek= Tom Sawyer, Prone= Bud, Not Buddy

Language- Nouns. Chapter 2 in our Language book

News for Week of June 7, 2010

Please remember to check with your child about our bowling reward field trip.

Our field trip to Greenfield Village is Thursday June 10th. All parents are invited, but need to pay their own admission and drive themselves to the Village.

Bowling Field Trip is scheduled for Tuesday June 15th.

Hedke Field Day is Tuesday June 15th in the afternoon.

Last day of school is June 17th and students are dismissed at 11:55.
